We won't tell him we can see the evidence on the side of his shirt and pants of some terrific wipeout action. Derick is one of our best Kite Jumpers and flies the Core 3m and Core 6.7m kites. On the buggy he is using the 6.7m In Black: DAKO member Eric L. takes the reigns of the Peter Lynn Reactor 10.8m shown in the Banner photo at the top of the page. Eric is one of our members who does it all. Landboards, Kiteboards (water), Buggy, and Jumping.
Thank you Chris for the awesome pictures! |
Recently, a few of the DAKO buggy enthusiasts got together and
did some flying at Prosper's Frontier Park. A great spot
as it doesn't have alot of other people using the park yet.
DAKO president Chris Bangma gets credit for all the photos on this
page. I left them at a larger size as they are just
incredible pictures. Thanks Chris, they look great!
================================================================= Flying locations: Currently the bulk of the group is pretty active in the Plano/Allen area. Sometimes weekly fun fly's are held and there is a pretty good attendance. Let us know where your spots to fly are. Generally the better spots can hold 15-20 Power / Stunt kiters and the room they require and also offer space for buggying/landboarding. Event organizers: Someone(s) to come up with ideas on how to get these things going and locations to hold them at. |
